Barrie's Immortal Masterpiece"; "Only the greatest actress of her time could breathe the breath of life into this glowing role."; "She hurls the fires of her tempestuous soul into the transcendent drama that thunders at the gates of timeless glory"; from the novel by J.M. Barrie; set in 1840s Scotland, it concerns a young minister assigned to a new parish; he meets an exotic gypsy girl who leads him astray) starring Katharine Hepburn (as Babbie), John Beal (in the title role as Gavin), Alan Hale Sr., Donald Crisp, Lumsden Hare, and Billy Watson

Important Added Info: Note that this card comes from the collection of legendary collector Richard Allen. While Mr. Allen has always loved window cards, this card has a very special origin. He acquired this card from the Clairidge Theater in New Jersey in 1934 when the movie played at that theater (he asked an employee to give him the card!). This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: very good to fine. The card is in quite nice condition!
