An Original Vintage Unfolded Stage Play Poster (measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) Messett's Musical Entertainers, the circa 1910s stage show poster advertising a show created by Henrique Messetti. We found information on the Internet that says that Henrique Vivian Messetti was a member of a vaudeville-circus family, who first appeared on stage at the age of four. His parents settled in Los Angeles and he produced and toured in shows called "Messetti's Great Road Show" and "Messett's Musical Entertainers", which were mostly performed in minstrel blackface. Messetti acted in several early motion pictures. In his later years, he dropped his first name and performed as a female impersonator! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded.
