An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Safety Last!, the 1923 Fred C. Newmeyer & Sam Taylor silent romantic action slapstick comedy ("Laughs, Thrills"; "Laughter First!"; "When your seams rip open from giggling"; "The First 7 Reel Thrill-a-minute Laugh-a-second Comedy Cyclone"; "And all for the love of a maid!"; written in part and produced by Hal Roach) starring Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis (Harold Lloyd's real life wife; they had married during the production of this movie!), Bill Strothers, Noah Young, and Westcott Clarke. Note that this was the movie that included the classic sequence of Lloyd climbing up the side of a building, and starting to fall, and then grabbing the hands of a giant clock, and then the works of the clock start to come apart! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this great scene card, and it sold for $465! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card was folded down the middle, but because of the split image, the fold falls at the right edge of the left image and is hardly noticeable. There are tiny pinholes in the corners and in the center of the bottom border and a 1/2" tear near the middle of the left border and a crease in the bottom left blank corner. Someone put a small piece of tape on the back of the center of the top and bottom of the card. Learn More about condition grades
