An Original 1963 Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) J'irai Cracher sur vos Tombes (released in the U.S. in 1963 by Radley Metzger in a dubbed version as "I Spit On Your Grave"), the 1959 Michel Gast French interracial romantic melodrama ("The Film That Defies Every Taboo!"; "He Passed For White! ...And They Loved It!"; "Daring! Shocking!"; "The screen ignites with shock-waves of drama! The emotions you see will leave you breathless that this motion picture could ever be made!"; "A motion picture without a safety valve!"; "Since this is strictly adult entertainment we have been asked not to admit children under 16"; about a black Frenchman whose brother is lynched by whites, and he romances a beautiful white girl with the intention of killing her to get revenge, but then he falls in love with her) starring Christian Marquand, Antonella Lualdi, Fernand Ledoux, Daniel Cauchy, Renate Ewert, Marina Petrowa, Andre Versini, Paul Guers, and Jean Sorel. Note that there is a 1978 movie called "I Spit On Your Grave", which was a low-budget horror thriller. This has caused much confusion with this early melodrama about interracial love, but note that this 1963 "I Spit On Your Grave" has no connection to the 1978 movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There is a small piece of tape on the front of the lower right blank corner of the poster and there is tape on the back of the poster across the bottom edge, but it does not appear to be there for any restoration purpose. There is a 1 1/2" tear in the left of the bottom edge of the poster (caused by the above-mentioned tape). The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
