An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Rough Waters, the 1930 John Daumery canine German Shepherd dog adventure melodrama starring Rin Tin Tin, Jobyna Ralston, Lane Chandler, Edmund Breese, Walter Miller, and William Irving. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 6 years ago! Not only that, but the only other movie paper items we have auctioned from this movie are five lobby cards and a single 8x10 still! Condition: good. The poster has small tears and tiny paper loss in the right half of the lower horizontal fold and in the bottom quarter of the vertical fold. There are also small tears and tiny paper loss in the vertical fold 2" above and below the top crossfold. The poster has light staining scattered on the back of the right half of the poster, more so on the back of the bottom right eighth of the poster. It is very fortunate both that this staining hardly shows through to the front, but also because it can easily be corrected through linenbacking by a talented restorer. After proper backing (during which, the stains will be removed chemically), this rare and desirable poster will display wonderfully and have very little paint restoration.
