If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed. If you are not knowledgeable about restoration, Click HERE to learn about linenbacking. Condition: very good. The entire poster darkened prior to backing and the restorer did not bleach it. The poster has had minor restoration on the foldlines and to repair holes in the corners, but otherwise, it appears the poster has had next-to-no restoration. Whoever restored this poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges, but the borders of the poster are not harmed in any way. Also, the restorer used a thinner than normal linen to back the poster with. This has caused the bottom foldline to somewhat "re-emerge", and it has also caused the poster to very slightly lift from the linen on the edges. If I owned this poster, I would have it re-backed, although I could imagine many people who would be happy with it as is. Learn More about condition grades
