Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) King of the Damned, the 1935 (released in the U.S. in 1936) Walter Forde English prison revolt action adventure thriller ("'MINE!'... The challenge of beasts... who had once been men!"; "'MINE!'... Challenged their leader... The King of the Damned."; it seems like a standard prison revolt movie, but in this case, the prisoners don't want to escape, they want to take over the prison and govern it humanely!) starring Conrad Veidt, Helen Vinson, Noah Beery Sr., Cecil Ramage, and Edmund Willard. Note that this movie was made at the height of The Great Depression, and like Our Daily Bread, it advocated socialism as a cure for humanity's woes! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. Note that this still has been trimmed and now measures 7" x 9". We are selling thousands of stills this week, and we can't give detailed descriptions of every one.
