An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Invasion of the Saucer-Men, the 1957 Edward L. Cahn science fiction (sci-fi) alien horror thriller ("Creeping Horror... From the depths of time and space!"; "See Teenagers vs. The Saucer-Men!"; "See Disembodied hand that crawls...!"; "See Night the world nearly ended...!"; "See Earth attacked by flying saucers!") starring Steven Terrell, Gloria Castillo, Raymond Hatton, Frank Gorshin, Lyn Osborn, and Russ Bender. Note that while few people have fond memories of this movie, everyone loves the wonderful posters created to advertise it, with the goofy "cabbage head" aliens holding a half-clad girl, and with great art of spaceships destroying a city! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Albert Kallis Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time, and was stored rolled for some amount of time, but we would prefer to send this poster flat, because the folds might increase if it were rolled. But if the new buyer desires, we could either send the poster rolled in a tube, or even re-fold it along the original folds, which would make for a smaller package (we will leave it to the new owner to decide). Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded once in each direction and there is fine surface paper loss on the left half of the horizontal fold, with some tiny creases and scuffs on the rest of the foldlines. There are multiple pinholes in each corner. There are brown water stains in the left border and scattered across the bottom credits area. There is 1/2" of separation at the right end of the middle foldline and tiny separation at the left end and also in the top of the vertical foldline (at the top of the blank border). There is a thin strip of brown tape on the back of the bottom border. None of the above defects are all that distracting, so I can certainly imagine many collectors happily displaying this wonderful poster just as it is, or certainly, a restorer could perform restoration to the poster, and it would require little paint restoration within the image area.
