8k025 ALIEN 3 revised first draft script '92 abandoned screenplay by sci-fi author William Gibson!

An Original Vintage Movie Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 100 pages) (Learn More)

Alien 3, the 1992 David Fincher science fiction (sci-fi) space monster action horror thriller sequel ("3 times the suspense. 3 times the danger. 3 times the terror."; "This time it's hiding in the most terrifying place of all."; "In 1979 it came from within. In 1986 it was gone forever. In 1992 our worst fears have come true. It's back."; "Based on Characters Created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett") starring Sigourney Weaver (as Ripley), Charles S. Dutton, Charles Dance, Lance Henriksen (as Bishop), and Paul McGann. Note that this movie went through many scripts and cast and crew changes! Originally, acclaimed science fiction writer William Gibson wrote a script (and because Sigourney Weaver was likely not going to be in the movie, his script focused on Hicks and Bishop). Gibson's script also had eight scenes of aliens bursting out of chests, compared to two in the first sequel. Some people consider this first script to be superior to the final finished film, or any of the other scripts written after it.

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the revised first draft and the screenplay was written by William Gibson (see above for how this version was abandoned). It is interesting to note that there is a version of this script available on the Internet, but that Gibson says that the Internet version is 30 pages shorter than the version he originally wrote. One would have to compare this script to that Internet version to see if it has the "extra" pages Gibson says he wrote! Please do not bid on this script unless you can accept the uncertainty as to whether this script has those extra pages.

Condition: very good. There are stains around the edges of the covers.
