Victoire sur l'Annapurna (released in the U.S. as "Annapurna"), the 1953 Marchel Ichac French Himalayan mountain climbing documentary adventure thriller ("Maurice Herzog's breath taking best-seller"; "The 'Kon-Tiki' of the mountains"; about the first successful climb of an 8,000 meter peak) narrated by climber Maurice Herzog and cinematographer Marcel Ichac. Note that this film was released just two months before Tenzing and Edmund Hillary successfully climbed Mount Everest!
