An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are many creases and scuffs scattered down the right 2" of the poster and along the top and bottom horizontal folds, with a lesser amount scattered in the rest of the poster. There is a tape stain in each corner and some tears and tiny paper loss in the borders. The poster's defects are pretty minor, and after a simple paperbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, or many collectors would likely be happy to display this poster just as it is!
