Karen Finley is a performance artist, musician, poet, and educator from the 1970s to the present. She performed in underground art galleries and music clubs which hosted poetry readings, punk concerts, and alternative performance acts. The U.S. Congress imposed restrictions on grants for indecent art, which resulted in the U.S. Supreme Court Case "National Endowment for the Arts v. Finley" in 1998, which was decided against Finley and the other artists involved. She appeared in the July 1999 issue of Playboy and received a Ms. magazine Woman of the Year award. Her Albums include: The Truth Is Hard to Swallow, Fear of Living, and A Certain Level of Denial. She has also appeared in several movies including: You Killed Me First, The Genius, and Philadelphia
Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the backs of these stills (see our images). Both have snipes glued on back with information about the front.

Condition: very good. The still pictured at right has some glue on back that is still somewhat tacky. They are otherwise in pretty nice condition.
