An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Alexander Hamilton, the 1931 John G. Adolfi post-Revolutionary War historical biography ("Based on the play by George Arliss and Mary Hamlin"; a fictionalized biography of one of the men who figured prominently in the birth of the United States, but he never became president) starring George Arliss (in the title role as Alexander Hamilton), Doris Kenyon (as Mrs. Betsy Hamilton), June Collyer, Dudley Digges, Montagu Love (as Thomas Jefferson), Lionel Belmore, and Alan Mowbray (in his fifth movie role; as George Washington!). Note that Hamilton did not figure prominently in movies or in mainstream media much over the years after this movie was made, until 2015, when a Broadway musical with music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda opened, and it was a massive success!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1931 posters and lobby cards from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a one-sheet and a single lobby card from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There are staple holes in three corners and a few faint smudges and dot stains around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty good condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
