Strayer crime mistaken identity screwball comedy (a really wacky story of a man who gives a ride to a pretty redhead, and she turns out to be the runaway wife of a gangster who was cheating on him, and the gangster thinks the man who gave the ride is the man who she was cheating with!; the gangster invites the man to a masquerade ball, to be able to murder him, and of course, there are more mistaken identities at the masquerade ball, but everything works out in the end) starring Charles Murray (billed as "Charlie Murray"), George Sidney, Nita Martan, Dorothy Christy and Robert Ellis. Charles Murray was one of the pioneer actors of early motion pictures. He began acting in 1912 and appeared in 282 movies altogether, 172 of them from before 1920. He was 40 years old when he began acting, and he often played middle-aged man roles (and progressed to old man roles as he aged). He played the title role in the 1925 version of "The Wizard of Oz", and he appeared in the "Cohens & Kellys" series of movies, along with George Sidney (the two co-starred in this movie in between making some of the Cohens & Kellys movies). Prior to paperbacking, the window card had some pinholes and paper loss around the edges, with some creases, scuffs, and pinholes scattered in the image. Overall, the window card was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking.
