Important Added Info: Note that one-sheets from this Howard Hawks/Barbara Stanwyck/Gary Cooper classic comedy are rarely offered for sale or at auction. We have only auctioned three examples of this poster in all our years of auctioning, and the last time we auctioned one was 10 years ago! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. There was a small tear in the center of the first "O" of "COOPER". There were tiny staple holes around the edges, with a small stain in the lower right blank border, and two other stains in the middle of the left and right blank borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
