MacDonald") starring Robert De Niro (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange, Joe Don Baker, Robert Mitchum, Gregory Peck (in his final movie role), Martin Balsam, Juliette Lewis (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and Senator Fred Dalton Thompson.
