An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Under Fiesta Stars, the 1941 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western musical ("Original story by Karl Brown") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Carol Hughes, Frank Darien, Joe Strauch Jr. (as Tadpole), and Hal Taliaferro. Note that in 1941, the producers had the fun idea of giving sidekick Smiley Burnette (who played "Frog") a youthful sidekick of his own, and they hired young Joe Strauch Jr., who played that part in six of these movies, and naturally, his character was nicknamed "Tadpole"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: poor. Unfortunately, someone drew on Autry's face with pencil and wrote an obscenity in the background to the right of him. Someone tried to erase it, but it is still visible (see our image).
