An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Cat-Women of the Moon, the 1953 Arthur Hilton science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("You've never seen anything like it"; "They're Fiery... Fearless... Ferocious!"; "See: The deadly cave of forbidden moon-gold!"; "See: The lost city of love-starved cat-women!"; "See: The blood thirsty battle of the moon monsters!"; a classic low-budget cheesy movie!) starring Sonny Tufts, Marie Windsor, Victor Jory, Susan Morrow, Douglas Fowley, Bill Phipps, Carol Brewster, and "featuring the Hollywood Cover Girls as the Cat-Women". Note that the film distributor "Astor Pictures" primarily distributed re-releases of major studios in the late 1940s and 1950s, but they DID produce a few of their own movies, including this one. This is the first release of this movie, and it NOT a re-release! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny dots of paper loss in parts of the vertical foldline with a lesser amount of wear on the horizontal folds. There were some creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
