Artist: Joseph Caroff & Mitchell Hooks Important Added Info: Note that, in recent years, James Bond collectors have come to realize that the 14" x 36" inserts for the classic James Bond movies are MANY TIMES more rare than the one-sheets for the same titles, likely because few theaters in the U.S. were still ordering inserts at that time (and in fact, it would not be that much longer before inserts were no longer made). In the case of this movie, the insert is definitely many times more rare than the one-sheets (we have only auctioned six inserts as opposed to 37 one-sheets, in all our years of auctioning). It is also very difficult to find in nice unrestored condition, or to find unfolded. Of the six inserts we previously auctioned, only three were in "very good" or better condition, and one of those was restored. The last one we auctioned, in 2016, was in "very good to fine" condition, but it was folded, and that insert sold for $4,000! Now, we are auctioning an unfolded unrestored example that is in "good to very good" condition (we have only auctioned one other unfolded one, and that was 9 years ago). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has creases in the lower 8" of the left blank border and a lesser number of creases scattered in the other borders. It has some creases and smudges scattered throughout the poster, but mostly in the white background areas. It once had a piece of tape in each blank corner, and three pieces were completely removed, causing surface paper loss, and the piece in the bottom right corner left a yellow stain and surface paper loss. I would think many collectors would be happy to display this poster as it is, or certainly, they could choose to have restoration performed, but either way, they will have a great poster to display on their wall!
