8m018 LOT OF 17 SET REFERENCE PHOTOS FOR HAPPY YEARS '50 great images of the sets!

a lot of 17 reference test photographs from The Happy Years, the 1950 William A. Wellman school teaching juvenile romantic family comedy ("Based on the thrilling and beloved series in the Saturday Evening Post!"; "A story of Wild and Wonderful days!"; "in exciting color by Technicolor"; "Based on 'The Lawrenceville Stories' by Owen Johnson") starring Dean Stockwell (the rare case of a child star who grows up to have a successful career in the movies as both an adolescent and as an adult; perhaps best known the child star of "The Boy with Green Hair", as one of the murderers in "Compulsion", and as Al from TV's "Quantum Leap"), Darryl Hickman, Scotty Beckett (best remembered as a very young "Our Gang" member and also for playing the young Al Jolson in "The Jolson Story"), Leon Ames, Margalo Gillmore, and Leo G. Carroll (best remembered from his roles in TV's "Topper", and "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."). Note that all of these reference set photos measure 8" x 10". Some of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie and some do not (most of them have the clapboard). The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time after the set was taken down. Almost all of the photos have "RETURN TO PROPERTY DEPT. METRO GOLDWYN MAYER" stamped on the back.

Condition: very good. The photos are generally in nice condition! All have three punch holes in the top border, because they were apparently stored in some sort of binder.
