Dive Bomber, the 1941 Michael Curtiz airplane aviation pre-World War II (WWII) military pilot thriller ("Warner Bros.' thrilling new saga of the skies!"; "In Technicolor"; "From a story by Frank Wead"; based on the real life problem in World War II of pilots blacking out when their planes went in a dive from high altitude to low, and a real life surgeon who worked with an ace pilot to develop a pressurized suit that solved this problem) starring Errol Flynn, Fred MacMurray, Ralph Bellamy, Alexis Smith, Robert Armstrong, Regis Toomey, Allen Jenkins, and Dick Wessel

Important Added Info: This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had paper loss in the crossfold in the "E" of "DIVE" in the title and a 4" semi-circular tear to the left of that. There were creases, smudges, separation, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss on most foldlines. The person who did the restoration put new blank white paper over all the borders to even out the appearance (but the small writing at the bottom of the poster was not covered over). This is a common technique used by several top restorers. It is done so well that the majority of collectors are not even aware it has been done, and many do not feel it to be a significant detraction (since it is only blank white area). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration of the defects described above.
