That Liberty Shall Not Perish From the Earth, the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("Buy Liberty Bonds"; "Fourth Liberty Loan") encouraging citizens to purchase Liberty Bonds and featuring Joseph Pennell art of the decapitated Statue of Liberty with a burning New York City skyline in the background.

Artist: Joseph Pennell

Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened and it has a few creases, areas of paper loss and tiny tears along portions of some edges (see our image). Several are backed by clear tape and two are backed by restoration tape at top. Fortunately they affect the blank borders and the art has survived in really nice condition, and after a relatively simple linenbacking the poster will display well!
