Smith crime murder mystery detective melodrama ("Who will be the killer's next victim?"; "Startling! Baffling!"; "From the novel by Mignon G. Eberhart"; a rich banker tells a group of people that one of them has embezzled money, and soon after, he is found dead, a supposed "suicide"; but his daughter doesn't believe it, and she asks a detective to help solve the case) starring Dick Purcell, Ann Sheridan, Anne Nagel, William Hopper, Anthony Averill, and Trevor Bardette. Note that this movie was made the same year that Ann Sheridan was in "Angels with Dirty Faces" (it was at the time when Warner Bros. was putting her in dozens of movies, because they did not yet realize that she had the potential to be a major star!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. There is a faint stain in the lower left blank border.
