Note that the posters for this movie have wonderful Reynold Brown artwork of a giant scantily clad woman standing over a highway, and it is rightly regarded as one of the finest poster images of the 1950s. One wishes one could say the same about the movie itself, but alas, that is not true! But the poster for this movie is surely one of the most memorable ever created! Artist: Reynold Brown Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 40x60 poster, which has pretty much the same image as the zillion dollar one-sheet, except with different coloring! It is surely many times more rare than the one-sheet! Note that this poster needs to be shipped in a tube that measures between 42" and 44" long. Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had many partial folds and creases scattered throughout, with some smudges and scuffs scattered in the image, including some in the woman's face and body. There were pinholes around the edges and some scattered in the image. There was a 3" tear in the right of the top border in the background area and some tiny tears around the edges, and some smudges in the solid background areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Still, from any reasonable viewing distance, this extremely rare poster will look great on its new owner's wall! Learn More about condition grades
