An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) A Regular Scout, the 1926 David Kirkland silent cowboy western starring Fred Thomson, Silver King (billed as "the horse with a personality"), Olive Hasbrouck, William Courtright, T. Roy Barnes, and Margaret Seddon. Note that star Fred Thomson was a major silent cowboy star (along with Tom Mix), but he is forgotten today, because he tragically died of tetanus just when sound movies started. Surely there should be a film biography of his life (perhaps Johnny Depp could play the lead role!). Also note that Fred Thomson's horse, Silver King, was very talented! He could count to 100 by tapping his hoof, and he could also identify colors (but these kinds of horse tricks have often been questioned over the years as being accomplished through help from the horse's owner or trainer). But there is no doubt that Silver King's talents contributed to Fred Thomson's success! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are some tears in the borders, with tiny paper loss in two corners. There are some smudges in the white background areas. There was staining in the top center background area, and someone touched up that area. It was likely water staining, because the card is lightly rippled through the middle.
