Zanuck) starring Linda Darnell, James Ellison, Ann Sothern, Elsa Maxwell, John Halliday, Lynn Bari, Katharine Aldridge, Alan Dinehart, Jean Rogers, June Gale, Joyce Compton, and Amanda Duff. Note that 20th Century-Fox hired famous pin-up artists McClelland Barclay, George Petty, Bradshaw Crandell, and John LaGatta to create the one-sheet, three-sheet and half-sheets (and the lookalike title card) for this movie. Each featured great pin-up art of a sexy girl (none look like the actresses in the movie, but nobody minded!). They advertised it this way: "When these artists paint a girl, the whole world stops to LOOK! Petty, John La Gatta, McClelland Barclay, Bradshaw Crandell ...and each has created a striking figure especially for your 'Hotel For Women' campaign!" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: George Petty Important Added Info: Note that the art on this title card is by noted magazine and calendar artist, George Petty! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has scuffs in the top left below Maxwell's credit and slightly entering the girl's legs. There is a 2" tear in the right border that has tape on the back. There are some small tears in the left blank border. The top right corner was missing and someone glued a piece of another card to front of that area, and there is some surface paper loss and paper loss next to it. There are some faint stains and smudges around the edges. There is a piece of tape on the back of the center of the top border, but it was not put there for any restoration purpose.
