Framed (released in some countries as "Paula"), the 1947 Richard Wallace romantic crime film noir ("You've messed up three lives already... isn't that enough?"; about a mining engineer whose car breaks down, and a pretty woman unknown to him helps him pay his fine, and in the classic tradition of film noir, that plunges him into a seedy world of strange people and double-crosses) starring Glenn Ford, Janis Carter (as Paula Craig), Barry Sullivan, Edgar Buchanan, Karen Morley, and Jim Bannon
