Date Sold 12/11/2011Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Robot Monster, the 1953 Phil Tucker 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller (perhaps the worst movie ever made; "Moon monsters launch attack against Earth!"; "Moon monsters launch Earth attack!"; "Adventures into the Future"; "How can science meet the menace of astral assassins? New science-fiction thrills!"; "Monsters attack Earth!"; "Adventures into the future in NEW Tru-3 dimension!") starring George Nader, Claudia Barrett, Selena Royle, John Mylong, Gregory Moffett, Pamela Paulson, George Barrows, and John Brown (in the title role as the voice of the robot). Note that "Plan Nine From Outer Space" has often been mentioned as the worst movie ever made, but many people feel this movie is a strong contender for that title! The making of the movie is as interesting as the movie itself (it was shot in four days, it "steals" special effects from other movies, etc). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are faint smudges in the top and left 1" of the card. The theater that used this car did not show the movie in 3-D, and they glued a paper snipe over the 3-D area at top center. That snipe is missing, but there is much glue residue in that area. They also put a snipe over the 3-D area at middle right, and there are glue stains in that area. Other than the above, the card is in pretty good condition! Learn More about condition grades
