An Original Vintage Autographed Program Page Clipping (measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" [8 x 9 cm]) (Learn More) Roy Orbison was an early legendary rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer (with a three octave range and one of the greatest falsettos ever!) who achieved major success with such songs as "Crying" and "Oh, Pretty Woman". In the 1980s, he performed with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Tom Petty in the "Travelling Willburys", and he recorded a duet of "Crying" with K.D. Lang. He passed away in 1988 at the age of 52 from a heart attack. Important Added Info: Note that this program page clipping has been personally autographed (signed) by Roy Orbison! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: good. The signature was cut from a program page and taped to an album, and there is staining on all four sides, which slightly extends into the bottom of the signature. There is additional light staining scattered throughout the autograph (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
