Complete set of 8 Original Vintage Theatrical English Movie Lobby Cards (measure 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Conquest of Everest, the 1953 George Lowe English Nepal/Tibet Himalayas mountain climbing hiking sports documentary ("The Supreme Adventure of Our Time!"; "The 1953 Expedition with Hunt, Hillary and Tensing"; about the first successful ascent of Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing Norgay) narrated by Meredith Edwards. Note that the expedition was led by English Army Officer John Hunt, but he did not make the final ascent to the top of the mountain, and for that reason, his name is pretty much lost to history, although he got top billing over Hillary and "Tensing" (which is how they billed Tensing Norgay, the Nepalese Sherpa who led them to the top of the mountain) on the English posters, which were made right after the event occurred.

Important Added Info: Note that these are rare "country of origin" lobby cards for this English documentary!
