An Original Vintage Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Karol Krauser (also known as Karol Kalmikoff) was a singles and tag team wrestler in the 1950s and 1960s. He was part of the fictitious Russian "Kalmikoffs" wrestling group, and with his teammate Ivan won the 1963 AWA World Tag Team title! He was nicknamed the "Polish Apollo". He passed away in 1964 at the age of 52. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Karol Krauser! Note that this still is from the collection of Robert J. Fieth. He was born in 1923, and as a teenager, he began writing to celebrities in the 1940s, and continued to do so over several decades, acquiring a collection of over 500 autographed photos (many of which are personalized to him, either as "To Robert J. Fieth", or "To Robert", or "To Bob"). We have been consigned a number of signed photos from this collection, the majority of which were obtained in the 1940s or 1950s! Condition: very good.
