He is best known as a leading artist and writer for Mad Magazine (he created the classic "Spy vs. Spy") and the comic book Groo the Wanderer. He is one of the fastest cartoonists there is, and he is universally liked by all fans and his fellow cartoonists. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 83! Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Sergio Aragones! Our consignor was with Mr. Aragones at the Comic Book Expo '89 in San Diego, California and Mr. Aragones had this printed stationery and he drew this great art of Alfred E. Newman at a typewriter (because our consignor is a professional writer), and he signed and dated it above the drawing! Condition: good to very good. The drawing was attached to a mat with a small piece of tape on the back of the center, and there is discoloration in that area. There is a pinhole in the bottom center, but otherwise, the drawing is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
