Dragon Seed, the 1944 Harold S. Bucquet & Jack Conway Asian China Japanese-invasion-of-a-Chinese-village melodrama ("MGM's immortal production of the great novel 'Dragon Seed'"; "Based on the novel by Pearl S. Buck") starring Katharine Hepburn, Walter Huston, Aline MacMahon (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Akim Tamiroff, Turhan Bey, Hurd Hatfield, and Frances Rafferty. Note that all of the main cast members were non-Asians and performed in "yellowface" makeup to portray Chinese and Japanese characters.

Condition: very good. There is a large piece of brown paper tape on the back of the middle of the top edge of the card but it does not appear to be there for any restoration purpose.
