An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Across the Pacific, the 1942 John Huston & Vincent Sherman World War II (WWII) romantic spy espionage adventure thriller ("Boy! when Bogart boffs those Japs... or when he kisses Mary Astor you can feel it Across the Pacific"; "From the Saturday Evening Post serial by Robert Carson"; based on the story "Aloha Means Good-bye" by Robert Garson; set in the days right before Pearl Harbor, about a U.S. Army officer who is court-martialed, and he boards a Japanese ship heading to the Panama Canal and discovers a Japanese plot to blow it up) starring Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Sydney Greenstreet, Charles Halton, Victor Sen Yung, and Frank Wilcox. Note that this film reunited three of the stars from the previous year's "Maltese Falcon", as well as director John Huston! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1942 movie posters from this Humphrey Bogart movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a one-sheet and a half-sheet from this movie until we received this window card! Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: very good. The card had smudges and stains around the edges, with a few scuffs and smudges scattered in the image, and the card was in good to very good condition. Someone performed restoration to the card without backing it (perhaps it was gel-backed). The card will display nicely on the new owner's wall! Learn More about condition grades
