She is best known for her roles in 1940s film noirs, often with Burt Lancaster. She was one of many beautiful young actresses who was signed to a personal contract by Hal Wallis, and he orchestrated her career, as he did with many others! Some of her movies include: The Strange Love of Martha Ivers, Dead Reckoning, The Racket, Loving You, and Pulp. She passed away in 2015 at the age of 92.
