Wilke (as Jim Pierce), Sheb Wooley (as Ben Miller), and Larry J. Blake NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this first release half-sheet! We had previously auctioned two examples of a different style first release half-sheet, and those were 19 and 21 years ago, when they sold for $546 and $673. Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. The poster had a 6" tear in the upper left border extending through the middle of the "HIG" of "HIGH", and someone put tape on the back of that tear, and it has rippled that area somewhat, but it is much more noticeable in our image than it is in person. It had some other tears in the borders that have tape on the back. There are also pinholes in the corners and smudges around the edges. There are some creases in the lower left yellow area, but almost no defects in the main image. Learn More about condition grades
