eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 2z097 BAD SEED stage play 7.25x9 still '54 Patty McCormack in the Broadway version, rare! Date Sold 11/9/2014Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More) The Bad Seed, the 1954 - 1955 Reginald Denham Broadway stage play production (of the Maxwell Anderson play adapted from the William March novel) held at the 46th Street Theatre and starring Nancy Kelly, Thomas Chalmers, Joan Croydon, John O'Hare, and Patty McCormack (who also starred in the 1956 movie; in the title role as Rhoda Penmark). Note that some people thought this play was too "dark" to be filmed, but Warner Bros. took a chance and filmed it in 1956 (with Patty McCormack reprising her stage role), and the movie was a big hit (but they changed the ending so that the evil little girl dies at the end, ridiculously being struck by lightning!). Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Condition: good to very good. There is surface paper loss on the back of the middle left, but it has no effect on the front of that area. There are a few tiny stains in the borders. Learn More about condition grades
