If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that most U.S. one-sheet posters for this film have an odd mistake in the credits. Director Vincente Minnelli is credited as the producer and the actual producer (Arthur Freed) is credited as the director! This mistake is even repeated on the 1963 re-release one-sheets but does not seem to affect any other U.S. posters. We don't know the specifics behind this crazy credit mix-up, but we imagine someone got into a lot of hot water over it! Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. Either before or after the poster was backed, it was displayed and the reds in the poster faded considerably. The poster had diagonal creases above and below the right half of the horizontal folds, with some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds and small tears and smudges around the edges. If the poster was not faded prior to backing, then it was in "good to very good" condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but it has the significant fading issue. It could be displayed and enjoyed, but please bear in mind this significant defect before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
