An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Help One Another, the 1924 Fred Guiol silent screwball Pathecomedy family relationship slapstick comedy short ("Hal Roach presents The Spat Family"; sixth in the "Spat Family" series of shorts) starring Frank Butler, Laura Roessing, and Sidney D'Albrook. Note that this was a series of 24 comedy shorts that were released monthly between 1923 and 1925. Each centered on the dysfunctional relationship of fussy "J. Tewksberry Spat", his combative wife, and her crude brother who lived with them and made the husband's life miserable! Note that this film is believed to be almost completely lost (only a small fragment survives). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is the first time we have ever auctioned ANY movie paper for this film in all of our years of auctioning! Condition: fair. The poster has paper loss in the upper and lower left blank border but only blank white paper was affected. It has some tears and tiny paper loss on small parts of the folds and someone put tape on back of those area. There is paper loss in the right of the "O" of "ROACH" and someone taped paper to the back of that area. There is staining that may be mold on back of the lower right of the poster. The poster is in urgent need of professional, however, any talented restorer can remove the staining and mold from it and after proper linenbacking and restoration it would display wonderfully, but in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
