Artist: Averardo Ciriello Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Italian poster (or any other Italian poster from this movie)! Note that Italian posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are, and they were almost all NOT the standard Italian sizes that became standard in the late 1940s (the 39x55 one-panel, the 55x78 two-panel, etc). These are likely so rare because there were still major paper shortages in Italy right after World War II, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare first release Italian poster from 1948. Also note that this Italian poster was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: good. There are many pinholes around the edges and some darkening and light stains scattered throughout the poster. There is small paper loss in the left blank border. However, any talented restorer could certainly back this poster and correct the above defects. One would prefer to find a better condition example of this poster, but that might take the rest of one's life, given how rare it is! Learn More about condition grades
