An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Dark Eyes of London (released in the U.S. as "The Human Monster"), the 1939 Walter Summers English crime horror mystery thriller ("Paralyzing Fear!"; "King of all Brutes!"; "The Thriller of Thrillers"; "Based on 'Dark Eyes of London' by Edgar Wallace") starring Bela Lugosi (as Dr. Feodor Orloff), Hugh Williams, Greta Gynt, Edmon Ryan, and Wilfred Walter (as "Jake", the horribly disfigured henchman) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There are many pieces of tape and tape stains in the borders. There are creases, smudges, pinholes, tears, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. There is 8" of clean separation at the bottom of the vertical foldline and 2" of separation at the top of the vertical foldline (repaired with tape from the back). There is a slightly diagonal tear running through the "L" of "LUGOSI" and into the image background beneath it. There are many faint scuffs throughout the image. This rare and great poster obviously has many condition defects. Please do not bid on this poster unless you have carefully read the description of the defects, looked closely at our super-sized image, and can accept the poster's defects, or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
