An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Touch of Evil, the classic 1958 Orson Welles Mexico drugs crooked policeman revenge crime film noir thriller ("The story of the strangest vengeance ever planned!"; based on the novel 'Badge of Evil' by Whit Masterson) starring Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich ("She felt his touch - once, and never forgot it!"), Zsa Zsa Gabor (Dietrich & Gabor billed as "'With Guest Stars' Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor"), Joanna Moore, Akim Tamiroff, Valentin de Vargas, and Victor Millan. Note that this movie was re-released in 1998, finally re-edited to satisfy the changes Orson Welles requested in a memo he wrote to the studio right after its first release when he found out the film had been cut. It took 40 years, but Welles' original vision was mostly restored. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bob Tollen Condition: good to very good. There is some tiny paper loss in the center of the middle foldline and in the left and right ends of the middle foldline. There are tiny brown stains and tiny areas of paper loss in the top and bottom blank borders and tiny paper loss in the very top center of the image background. There is a brown stain in Heston's shirt next to his shoulder. Other than the above, the poster has a "crisp" feel to it, as though it was only used once, and then stored away. Certainly, after linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will only require a little bit of paint restoration in the image area to fix the above defects.
