An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/2" [70 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) En Kvinnas Ansikte (released in the U.S. in 1939 as "A Woman's Face"), the 1938 Gustaf Molander Swedish romantic crime melodrama (about a young woman with a severely disfigured face who becomes the leader of a gang of thieves, because she is so bitter over her disfigurement; then a plastic surgeon operates on her and is able to restore her beauty, which slowly changes her outlook on life, and she wants to go in a completely different direction, but is it too late?) starring Ingrid Bergman, Tore Svennberg, Anders Henrikson, Georg Rydeberg, and Gunnar Sjoberg. Note that this movie was apparently a remake of a 1933 French movie called "Il etait une fois". It was remade yet again in 1941 in Hollywood, under the same title this Swedish movie was released under in the U.S. ("A Woman's Face"), with Joan Crawford in the lead role! Not only that, but we have never auctioned any movie item from this movie before, from any country, or any release. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has pinholes in the corners and tiny paper loss in the corners, where pins were roughly removed.
