An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Mr. District Attorney, the 1941 William Morgan courtroom lawyer legal crime suspense thriller ("Based on the Phillips H. Lord Radio Program"; despite the title, the movie focuses on an assistant District Attorney, who suspects that one of his boss' aides is working with master criminal Peter Lorre) starring Dennis O'Keefe, Florence Rice, Peter Lorre, Stanley Ridges (in the title role as District Attorney Tom F. Winton), Joan Blair, and Sarah Edwards. Note that five years after the release of this movie, made by Republic, Paramount started a second series of movies based on the same radio show, and the first movie in that series, beginning in 1946, was also called "Mr. District Attorney". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
