An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Return of Peter Grimm, the 1926 Victor Schertzinger silent romantic family relationship inheritance supernatural ghost melodrama (based on the play by David Belasco; about a rich old man who has a beautiful ward and he wants his nephew, who is his heir, to marry his ward, and the nephew agrees, but then the old man dies, and the nephew proves himself to be a cad in business and in his personal life, and the old man returns as a ghost to try to set things right) starring Alec B. Francis (in the title role as Peter Grimm), John Roche, Janet Gaynor, Richard Walling, Lionel Belmore, and Elizabeth Patterson. Note that this movie was made after Janet Gaynor achieved notice in The Johnstown Flood in 1925, but before she became a major star with Seventh Heaven in 1927. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single 8x10 still from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are many stains and some pinholes in the borders and some paint stains and tiny bits of paper loss in the bottom blank border.
