An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Man on the Flying Trapeze (released in England as "The Memory Expert"), the 1935 Clyde Bruckman family relationship slapstick comedy (from a story by Charles Bogle, which was a pseudonym for W.C. Fields) starring W.C. Fields ("The lovable Micawber of 'David Copperfield' and the hilarious skipper of 'Mississippi' in his latest comedy hit"), Mary Brian, Kathleen Howard, Grady Sutton, James Burke, Edward Gargan, and Walter Brennan (as one of the two men who break into Fields' house and get drunk on his moonshine!)
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that it is well known that W.C. Fields would write his scripts and constantly revise them, driving the actors crazy! In this case, the writing on the back says that he is literally dictating the next scene to the script lady, Dorothy White, as the other actors "wonder what will happen after that"! Also note that the movie is called "Everything Happens at Once" on the back of this still, which was the working title for this movie!

Condition: fair to good. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine and there is a circular crop mark around the central image, showing what portion of the still to reproduce.
