To meet her is to love her!..."; "HERE SHE IS!"; "Here's a treat of treats! A honey of a hit, with a sweetheart of a star!"; "The 15-year-old bundle of song and sunshine!"; "Suggested by a play by Dorothy Bennett and Irving White"; about a man released from prison who finds his wife and daughter living with another man, but he still befriends his daughter, who does not know him) starring Kay Francis, Walter Huston, Patti Hale, Frankie Thomas, Borrah Minevitch & His Rascals, and Gloria Warren (billed as "Introducing Gloria Warren"; "The 15-year-old bundle of song and sunshine"). Note that this was Gloria Warren's first movie (she was 16 years old), and apparently Warner Bros. expected BIG things from her (they apparently hoped she would be another Deanna Durbin), for they devoted the entire ad campaign to pushing how great she was (completely ignoring Kay Francis and Walter Huston, two major stars)! She apparently was a singer making her first movie, and I guess Warner Bros. thought she "couldn't miss". But apparently she did, because she only made four more movies. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images).
