An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Night of the Living Dead, the classic 1968 George A. Romero & John A. Russo end-of-the-world science fiction (sci-fi) walking-dead undead zombie horror thriller ("They won't stay dead!"; "They keep coming back in a bloodthirsty lust for human flesh!... Pits the dead against the living in a struggle for survival!") starring Judith O'Dea, Duane Jones, Marilyn Eastman, Karl Hardman, Judith Ridley, Kyra Schon, Charles Craig, Keith Wayne, Randy Burr, S. William Hinzman (billed as "Bill Heinzman"; as the graveyard zombie), George A. Romero (the director, as one of the Washington reporters!), Russell Streiner, Ella Mae Smith, Dick Heckard, John Kirch, Paula Richards, George Kosana, John Russo, Richard Ricci, and Terry Gindele NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there are two very slightly different versions of this poster which exist which both appear to be from the first 1968 release of this movie. They are identical in every way except that one has the title in lighter green letters and the other has the title in darker green letters (the one with the lighter green letters also has the NSS text block at the bottom right, while the one with the darker green letters has the NSS text block at bottom center). Both versions have the identical NSS stamp on the back, with the exact same information. If anyone has reason to believe that one of these posters predates the other, please e-mail us and we will post it here. We have always thought it likely that both posters were printed at the same time, but at different printing locations (we have seen this true of other titles of the late 1960s and early 1970s, especially ones that were from extremely popular movies). Condition: fair to good. The poster was folded in half an extra time. It is lightly rippled throughout due to exposure to moisture. There are many pinholes, tape stains, and some pieces of tape around the edges, and many small pieces of tape on the back of the borders, where the poster was once attached to a wall. There was a small piece of tape on the back of the top two crossfolds, where there were tears. There is tiny paper loss 2" to the right of the bottom crossfold. This poster has lots of defects, as noted above. But fortunately, most are in the borders, or are the kind that respond well to restoration (like the rippling throughout). After being linenbacked by a talented professional, the poster will look great, but bear this expense in mind before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
