An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Vincent Blasco Ibanez' Blood and Sand, the 1941 Rouben Mamoulian Spain bullfighting matador toreador romantic love triangle melodrama ("The matador who defied death... for love!"; "Tyrone Power in Vicente Blasco Ibanez' Blood and Sand"; "Based on the novel by Vicente Blasco Ibanez"; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Linda Darnell, Rita Hayworth, Alla Nazimova (billed as "Nazimova"), Anthony Quinn, J. Carrol Naish, Lynn Bari, John Carradine, Laird Cregar, Monty Banks, Vicente Gomez, and George Reeves. Note that famous silent screen star Alla Nazimova came out of retirement in 1940 and made five movies from then to 1945, including this one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Carlos Ruano-Llopis Condition: good to very good. The poster had extra creases across the top fold and between the top crossfold and the middle crossfold. There was tiny paper loss at each crossfold. There was tiny surface paper loss in Power's cheek and in the background to the left of Hayworth's hair. There were pinholes, creases, smudges, and some small tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did minimal restoration and you can still see the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
