Date Sold 6/13/2013 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 9 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Canadian Mounties vs. Atomic Invaders, the 1953 Franklin Adreon science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure serial (a bizarre combination of a Canadian Mountie adventure movie mixed with Russian agents setting up secret missile bases in Canada so they can attack the U.S.; basically, this was a standard adventure serial, trying to capitalize on the Cold War fears so prevalent in the U.S. at this time; note that the ad campaign for this movie included artwork of a prominent mushroom cloud, then the universal symbol for the aftermath of an atomic bomb detonation!; "A Republic Serial in 12 Chapters"; "Written by Ronald Davidson") starring Bill Henry, Susan Morrow, Arthur Space, Dale Van Sickel, and Pierre Watkin Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 9 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured!
